Turenne Emergence targets niche SMEs. We have a unique strategy and a proven track record in Small Caps in France.

We like working with entrepreneurs on their primary transactions. We are specialized in primary leveraged buyouts. We are the first investment fund for managers.

We are specialized in Business Services. We have a clear and proven strategy in :

  • Primary deals.
  • We are present locally in many regions, so we are closed to the companies we work with. We have a large coverage of the territory to originate new deals.

We are focused on finding high performing companies with a sector approach :

  • Environmental engineering and services
  • Software and IT companies.

We are either a majority investor or leading financial investor.

We have a hands-on approach as a lead investor. We provide continuous operational support which contribute to our added value. We typically target businesses that have experienced rapid growth but have not been built for scale. In order to maximise value, we support the development of our portfolio companies by concentrating our focus on :

  • Employees and talent retention strategy
  • Organisational strengthening
  • Structuring the LBOs as a company project (sharing company capital and profit)
  • Buy & Built
  • Supporting managers in the ESG transformation of their company

Investment criteria :

  • Sector approach – 2 growing sectors in B2B Services : Environmental engineering and services and IT companies or companies which delivered “niche” business services
  • Profitable and fast-growing companies (more than 10% growth per year)
  • Revenue : €5m to €50m
  • Equity investment size : €4m to €12m
  • Enterprise value of up to €100m
